In this episode, I talk to one of my favourite comedians, JUSTIN MOORHOUSE about his comedy career.
Moorhouse began his career at the famous Frog and Bucket Comedy Club in Manchester and in 2002, he won a local comedy competition appearing at The Comedy Store in the city. This led to touring and appearing as Young Kenny in the Channel 4 classic comedy series Phoenix Nights alongside Peter Kay and a wonderful cast. He has also been a radio DJ, and actor appearing on stage at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, in the film Looking For Eric released in 2009 and on TV in Coronation Street in 2014. Moorhouse is a popular MC at The Comedy Store both in Manchester and London and he regularly performs stand-up comedy across Britain.
I have seen Moorhouse perform many times to great acclaim with his solo Edinburgh Fringe shows from 2007 to 2010 and 2014 to 2018 as well as for The Comedy Store, Always Be Comedy, Return of The Craic and Headliners Comedy Club from 2019 to 2021. I always look forward to seeing his name on a bill and whenever I have watched him, he has made me consistently laugh out loud until my sides ache.

Charming Geordie comedian Lauren Pattison was a finalist for the Chortle Student Comedy Awards in 2015 and a finalist for the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2016 as well as a nomination for the Best Newcomer Award at the Lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2017.
I have seen Pattison perform many times to great acclaim in 2016, 2019, 2020 and 2021 for Always Be Comedy live and online and for the Return of The Craic online comedy show in 2021.

Winner of many awards including the BBC New Award 2016 – 2018 and the winner of the Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2021, the comedian has a very confident manner when she performs live delivering superbly timed rants and exceptionally funny stories.
I have seen Manito online for Happy Mondays Comedy in 2020 and for Always Be Comedy in 2018 and again live in 2021.

In this episode, I talk to the comedy legend, ARTHUR SMITH about his comedy career.
Beginning his alternative stand-up career in the 1980s, Smith, the self-proclaimed Night Mayor of Balham, regularly appeared at London’s Comedy Store and many comedy clubs in the capital. He has attended most Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s since 1977 and as well as performing stand-up comedy, he has presented TV shows and written books and plays, most notable An Evening with Gary Lineker.
I have seen and really enjoyed him live on stage many times in London and Edinburgh including his solo shows Cobbled Up Shambles in 2010, Arthur Smith Sings Leonard Cohen (Vols 1 – 3) in 2013, 2014 and 2017, Oh Hazel in 2015 and Syd in 2018. I also attended Arthur Smith in Conversation with Beyond the Title in 2021 where he discussed his prestigious forty-year career in British comedy.

I have watched admired Simmons’ comedy at Nick Helm’s Christmas show in 2018 and online for Maureen Younger’s Comedy Chats and Always Be Comedy Online both in 2020.

Runner Up at the Brighton Comedy Festival New Act of the Year 2015 and the Audience Favourite Act winner at the Musical Comedy Awards 2016, Long has a relaxed and genial style on stage and delivers sharp-written witty songs and stand-up comedy.
I have been a supporter of Long since the start of his career, first watching him perform three shows for the We Are Comedy Project in Liverpool Street and at the Duke’s Head in Putney in 2013 before his Edinburgh Fringe solo shows Troubadour in 2018 and Planet Killing Machine in 2019.

Beginning in 2016, Convey is a very honest and extremely funny comedian. She has been a finalist of the famous So You Think You’re Funny competition and has separately toured with Russell Kane and Alan Carr.
I have seen her perform many times at Always Be Comedy and in 2019, I saw her debut solo show Telephone Voice at the Edinburgh Fringe where she was a delight to watch.

In this episode, I talk to the one of my favourite comedians, PAUL MCCAFFREY about his comedy career.
Winner of the Latitude New Act of the Year in 2009, McCaffrey has always made me consistently laugh at his brilliantly inspired everyday life routines. He has been the support act on tour for Michael McIntyre, John Bishop, Sean Lock and Kevin Bridges. He has performed four critically acclaimed Edinburgh solo shows and appeared at music festivals such as Reading, Leeds and Latitude.
I always smile when I see him name on a comedy bill knowing that I am going to have a good time. I have seen him live many times including his solo shows Suburban Legend in 2017 and Lemon in 2019 both at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as many performances for Always Be Comedy in London.

In this episode, I talk to the wonderful comedian LLOYD GRIFFITH about his comedy career.
Griffith is an exceptionally funny comedian who has made me laugh so much over the years and has supported Rob Beckett on tour in 2013 / 2014 and Jack Whitehall on tour in in 2017. He has also been a presenter on Sky TV’s Soccer AM and for BBC 5Live and Talksport.
I have seen Griffith live several times, including his solo shows In.Undated in 2017 and All Rounder in 2019 both at the Soho Theatre and many performances for Always Be Comedy in London. In 2021, I am looking forward to seeing his new solo show Not Just A Pretty Face at the Leicester Square Theatre towards the end of the year.

Walsh is one of the very best current observational comedians who has made me consistently roar with laughter whenever I have seen him perform. He has who has won several awards including the Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year and the Chortle Best Newcomer both in 2009.
I have seen him live many times over the years including his solo shows Ying and Yang in 2011, Seann To Be Wild in 2012, The Lie-In King in 2013, Seann: 28 in 2014 and After This One I’m Going Home in 2019 all at the Edinburgh Fringe. I have also seen him regularly perform at Always Be Comedy.
