In this episode, I talk to the one of my favourite comedians, PAUL MCCAFFREY about his comedy career.
Winner of the Latitude New Act of the Year in 2009, McCaffrey has always made me consistently laugh at his brilliantly inspired everyday life routines. He has been the support act on tour for Michael McIntyre, John Bishop, Sean Lock and Kevin Bridges. He has performed four critically acclaimed Edinburgh solo shows and appeared at music festivals such as Reading, Leeds and Latitude.
I always smile when I see him name on a comedy bill knowing that I am going to have a good time. I have seen him live many times including his solo shows Suburban Legend in 2017 and Lemon in 2019 both at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as many performances for Always Be Comedy in London.

In this episode, I talk to the wonderful comedian LLOYD GRIFFITH about his comedy career.
Griffith is an exceptionally funny comedian who has made me laugh so much over the years and has supported Rob Beckett on tour in 2013 / 2014 and Jack Whitehall on tour in in 2017. He has also been a presenter on Sky TV’s Soccer AM and for BBC 5Live and Talksport.
I have seen Griffith live several times, including his solo shows In.Undated in 2017 and All Rounder in 2019 both at the Soho Theatre and many performances for Always Be Comedy in London. In 2021, I am looking forward to seeing his new solo show Not Just A Pretty Face at the Leicester Square Theatre towards the end of the year.

In this episode, I talk to the brilliant comedian SEANN WALSH about his comedy career.
Walsh is one of the very best current observational comedians who has made me consistently roar with laughter whenever I have seen him perform. He has who has won several awards including the Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year and the Chortle Best Newcomer both in 2009.
I have seen him live many times over the years including his solo shows Ying and Yang in 2011, Seann To Be Wild in 2012, The Lie-In King in 2013, Seann: 28 in 2014 and After This One I’m Going Home in 2019 all at the Edinburgh Fringe. I have also seen him regularly perform at Always Be Comedy.

After winning the respected So You Think You’re Funny award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1998, Yorkshireman Rouse has toured all over the world and is one of the most energetic and vibrant comedians on the circuit.
A great comic storyteller, I have seen him live many times over the years including his solo shows My Family… and The Dog That Scared Jesus in 2009, Through The Looking Ass in 2014 and the acclaimed play Funny in Real Life in 2019 with his wife Helen Rutter all at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Gill is the co-founder and resident compere at Always Be Comedy club. Having celebrated its tenth birthday in June 2021, I have been attending the club weekly for the last six years both live and online.
Together with Tech guru Tim Lewis, it is testament to Gill that he has created an incredible evening, featuring amazingly talented comic acts, as he tirelessly works week in week out to entertain an audience.

In this episode, I talk to the great comedian BRENDAN O’DONOGHUE about his comedy career.
A big supporter of new comic talent, I first saw Irish comedian O’Donoghue MC for Comedy Virgins at The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell in 2013. Since 2016, I have watched him be the resident compere at Birdies free comedy showcase at The Savoy Tap in the Strand, London where he has introduced many a new comedian including Josh Baulf, Vix Leyton and Darren Walsh. Armed with his trademark wisecracking jokes and one-liners, O’Donoghue always seems determined to give the audience a good time and whenever I have seen him, he succeeds brilliantly.

In this episode, I talk to the great comedian JOSH BAULF about his comedy career.
In 2018, I first saw the London comedian appear at the Amused Moose National New Comedian final where he was very impressive entertaining the audience with effortless ease. I also saw him headline Birdies free comedy showcase the same year, where he was hysterical with his cheeky personality and then watched him perform his first Edinburgh show Boy in 2019.
In 2020, Baulf made a successful appearance on TV’s Britain’s Got Talent impressing the judges and is definitely a comedian to watch.

Phillips is a charming comedian with no-holds barred material that is infectiously funny. She was the finalist of both the Max Turner Prize and Funny Women competitions in 2018. I have seen her on live on a number of occasions from the show Hoo-Haa! (alongside comedian Stephen Trumble) and as part of The Comedy Reserve in 2019 both at the Edinburgh Fringe to her solo show Smut at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2020.

Beginning stand-up comedy in 2005, I saw Brown guest compere Always Be Comedy in 2018 where I was impressed by his roguish style of storytelling. He was great at building up routines and effortlessly warmed up the audience for the main acts.
Brown is the founder and resident compare for the award-winning Outside The Box Comedy Club in London, tours his own material and is a regular TV warm-up host.

I have seen Lambert perform many times as both a compere and solo act. His charm and wit on stage make him a natural stand-up. I have seen his shows Little Lost Lad and Never Mak The Same Mistak Twice at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as numerous times at Always Be Comedy in London.
He has supported Sean Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen and Rob Beckett on tour and has written for TV’s Mock The Week and 8 Out Of 10 Cats and also on radio for The Now Show and The News Quiz.
