Born in India, Kurup is a superb observational comedian and has performed at venues across London including The Comedy Store, Angel Comedy and Sofa So Funny. 

I have seen Kurup take part in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2023 where she came third), as well as the Sofa So Funny! showcase in London in 2023 and again in 2025.
